The Board of Directors is a group of volunteers composed of 11 elected members. The Board holds regular bi-monthly meetings throughout the year with the exception of the summer months. 2005/2006 Board of Directors

Christina Rorabeck (President) was elected to the Board in 2006. Ms. Rorabeck is a lawyer with Cunningham, Swan, Carty, Little and Bonham.

Whitney Babcock (Vice-President) Elected May 25, 2006
Ms. Babcock has a background in Human Resources, Strategic Planning and Career Counselling.

Michelle Merryweather (Treasurer) was elected to the board May 23, 2007. Ms. Merryweather chairs the Finance Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee. She is working towards her CMA.

Sandra Melchiorre (Secretary) was elected May 2006. Ms. Melchiorre is a nurse practitioner with extensive experience in epilepsy.

Dr. Allison Spiller was elected in October 2003. Dr. Spiller is a neurologist at Kingston General Hospital and is a certified epileptologist.

Dr. E. Athen Macdonald was elected to the board in May 2004. Dr. Macdonald is a paediatric neurologist in Kingston. In addition to her medical expertise, Dr. Macdonald strengthens the Epilepsy Kingston objective to reach young clients and their parents.

Nadine Carson elected May 23, 2007. Ms. Carson Is the mother of a child with epilepsy and is active in her community to overcome the misperceptions of epilepy.

Kim McFarlane was elected May 23, 2007. Ms. McFarlane is a teacher for the ALCDSB and works in the area of special education.

Elaine Cunningham - Lee was elected to the board May 25, 2006. Ms. Cunningham - Lee has been a member of the Epilepsy Kingston community for many years but this is her first role on the board.

Jason Field was elected to the board May 25, 2006. Mr. Field is a lending and investment specialist at the Kingston Community Credit Union at Gardiners and Taylor-Kidd.
