Epilepsy
Kingston opened a satellite office in Brockville in 1999. The
Brockville office is located in the United Way Building at 42 George St. and serves the Counties
of Leeds, Grenville and Dundas. The office is staffed by Jessica Nixon, our outreach
co-ordinator, on a part-time basis. Office hours are 9 - 4 Wednesday.
The Brockville office serves as a resource centre to area residents.
Along with providing information and educational material, the
Brockville office also offers couselling, advocacy and support
to people living with epilepsy and their families.
An Advisory Committee was formed and had its initial meeting on
October 22, 2001. The Advisory Committee was established to provide
direction and guidance to the outreach co-ordinator in relation
to fundraising and service delivery. For information about joining the
