  • Educate the Educators

This program is aimed at teaching teachers and healthcare providers about epilepsy. It is an intensive presentation dealing with the wide variety of issues that educators may face. It teaches seizure recognition and first aid, treatments and causes as well as what to do and how to deal with other students' fears when one of their peers has a seizure.

  • A Fairy Tale About Epilepsy

'A Fairy Tale About Epilepsy' is a puppet show aimed at children aged 6-9. It tells the story of Draco the Dragon, Homer a young boy and Saran the Wizard. Draco is a young dragon who has epilepsy, and whose seizures cause him to breathe fire. The puppets teach the audience how to respond to seizures, as well as that there is nothing to fear from someone who has seizures.

    "The 'I' of Her Storm"

This play has not, as yet, been staged, but it is aimed at high school students and deals with problems that are particular to that age group, such as peer pressure, dating and alcohol and drugs. It is the story of Mac the lead singer in a pop band who is having absence seizures. Her friends start treating her strangely as she begins acting strangely. Ultimately, though, her friends realise she is still the same person she was before she began having seizures.
